You and me both, but now that it's started, I'd be more surprised if it didn't happen again. Things like this don't just go away because people want it to.

First blood has been drawn, and we don't really know the scoring when it comes to the Game.

...Didn't they say before that erasure was the best way to get points? There are the other tasks, but there's no way those alone will be enough to keep up.

It's likely. Somebody might think taking the rest of the team out will allow them a better chance of winning.

They have two healers, though. That might discourage someone, right? Because they could just heal whatever injuries they get from an attack before they're... erased.

They may not go for the healers. If everyone is passed out in that way again, they might go for the more offensive abilities because they won't have a way to recover.

This is, of course, all speculation.

The reapers said that anyone not on the winning team would be erased at the end, didn't they? I guess... they wouldn't have to go after the healers.

They wouldn't have to, no. Along with that, they've said if you're the last member standing of your team, you are also immediately erased.
