I guess - I don't know. I'm not saying it isn't a really fucked up thing to do, but I can at least see the logic in, like, I want to make this fight easy, so I'm going to go after someone who doesn't seem like he can defend himself. I mean, Rin seemed really - soft.
I think people will be pretty invested to find the right person every week, if only to make sure their team isn't voted for mistakenly. But... I see what you mean. It adds another level of investment if it's someone you consider a friend.
