They're very useful and it makes it easy to talk to anybody with just a few button presses.

It took years to get to the point where they became ubiquitous.

Yes, it comes with a chat function. Fairly useful if you want to speak to someone and you can't find them right away.

I know a spell that can do the same thing, but it takes a lot of work to set it up to work properly. So even with magic, long-range communication is never really convenient.

I'm from a city, somewhat similar to this one. Though we don't have blimps there.

The blimps... oh, those flying ships! I think that might be my favourite part of this city. It's too bad you don't have them...

We usually use planes or cars to get around.

A plane is an aircraft that can carry people and cargo very quickly to far away places.
