I have to admit, I'm really curious about what a museum in another world is like...

[Artifacts, gems, treasure, paintings, dinosaurs? Computers?]

[Amelia's eyes light up at the unfamiliar sights. She can't seem to decide what to look at first, but... soon ends up running over to a big mural depicting dinosaurs, seemingly to advertise the section where fossils are on display.]

What are these? Dragons!?

[She seems happy enough to explain this.]

Those are dinosaurs. A diverse set of reptiles that were once on Earth. They first appeared during the Triassic period, around 245 to 233 million years ago, and the majority of them were wiped out during the Triassic-Jurassic extinction event.

The only surviving members are birds.

So they're mostly all gone now...

[how sad....... poor dinosaurs.]

Yes, but there are a great variety of birds. Some fly, some swim, and some run.

Oh... I think I've only ever seen the flying kind.

You've never seen a penguin?

Hmm... Do you want to? There was natural history, we could see what they looked like there.

[She'll offer her hand for Amelia to take.]

I'd love to!! I've always wanted to see what kinds of creatures dwell in faraway lands...

[So she very happily takes that hand!]

It does feel distant if you've never been to earth before.

[She'll lead them off to the exhibits of the realistic animals in glass. The exhibits all have little placards about each animal. Penguins, polar bears, seals, oh my!]

So you can see animals like this where you're from?

[She's admiring the penguins through the glass...]

They're so cute...

Yes. This type is found in very cold locations, so they're not very common.

[saillune]

I didn't even know there were animals that thrive in the cold like this... It's incredible, how life always seems to find a way.

Life is very stubborn that way. It's admirable, don't you think?

Yes! It's beautiful, I think...

It's things like that that make me feel hopeful for all of us, too!

It's a good skill to have, especially in a game like this.

Going through this week by week will wear some people down.

[Well... she nods at that, her expression sobering a little.]

It does kind of seem like... a lot of this Game is designed around using fear to pressure people into acting rashly.

Only the team with the highest point total can win. Anyone who's the last person standing of their team will be erased immediately. It's a harsh system.
