NAME: MiraAGE: 30+

CHARACTER(S): n/a
IC
NAME: Kyoko Kuremi, technically AlphamonAGE: Kyoko is somewhere around 28. Alphamon's age is unclear.
SUITABILITY: Alphamon is a digimon who has been acting as Kyoko Kuremi for the past 8 years and is already very familiar with humans and the way humans act. She acts like an adult, has a job, has employees, and has no issues wearing an extremely skimpy outfit every day.
For the purposes of the application I'll call her Alphamon, but she refers to herself as Kyoko the majority of the time.
CANON: Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth
CANON POINT: Chapter 19, before the jump to the Digital World
ABILITIES: Kyoko Kuremi is a detective and a hacker. She can make quick work of digital locks, and get into places she has no business being, both in real life and in the digital landscape.
Alphamon has proficiency with spears and swords.
Due to Earth partially overlapping with the Digital World, she has the ability to switch back and forth between an 11 foot tall robot, Alphamon, and the human form of Kyoko Kuremi. Additionally, she can also physically jump into networks to access areas that would otherwise be inaccessible, as long as there's something electronic on the other side.
The following are only accessible in her Alphamon form:
She has the ability to heal up to six people for a significant amount, give them an attack or intelligence boost that lasts for a short period of time. She can create a sword made of light from nothing, and fire a strong blast of water. She can also slow a group of enemies down significantly.
She has access to Soul Digitalization, allowing her to create a magic circle to summon a monster, as well as Alpha inForce, which allows her to pause time and rewind it until she gets a favorable outcome.
She does have the ability to manipulate data, which is to say, she can take the "memory" of digital creatures and things, and reconstruct a person from those memories. The bonds and memories they form with a being can be used for this processes.
In Alphamon's form, she does not require food or drink.
She has the ability to jump dimensions, but only when connected to the Digital World's host computer. When jumping dimensions, she has the ability to download herself into a host body/mind so she doesn't suffer from memory loss/degradation. When Alphamon does this, she takes in the memories and abilities of the host body and mind.
Nerfs
She's unlikely to use these abilities. In the case that she does, Alpha inForce definitely needs a nerf. The ability to turn back time is complicated in a rp setting. It should only work for a span of 1 minute. It can only be used 2-3 times a day only one person. We can also nerf down Soul Digitalization into just summoning something the size of a husky or smaller.
VICES: Secretive, deeply enjoys trolling people.
Alphamon spends almost the entirety of Cyber Sleuth pretending to be a normal human, and gets away with it. If somebody doesn't ask her, she doesn't provide information. She allows her assistant to almost die before she steps in and joins the battle. Even when she reveals herself as a digimon, she doesn't reveal what digimon she is, her name, or how powerful she is. It takes the second to the last confrontation before she reveals that she is Alphamon.
Alphamon has served her assistant and her assistant's friends the worst possible coffee in existence, watched them pass out due to the taste, and continues serving them even worse coffee. When it comes to smaller things like this, she tends to fully ignore other people and their preferences. While she's very aware that nobody enjoys drinking it, she does keep serving them worse and worse coffee with things like roe and sea grapes incorporated into it. She also makes a teenager recite nonsense in the middle of the street, makes them believe they'll become possessed by a ghost and criticizes their photo taking pose.
VIRTUES: Calm, helpful, adaptable.
We never see Alphamon get stressed by anything, even as the situation in game declines to the point that there are rips in reality. The most ruffled we see her is briefly startled when her assistant has information she didn't think anybody had access to.
While she does look into ways to fix the two worlds, she's not urging anybody to rush to find a solution. She doesn't push for her assistant to rush anything either. As they approach the end of their journey, Alphamon advocates for making sure they've done everything they've wanted to, because there is no going back.
When she has information that could assist others, she's willing to give it to them. She's tells people about the rifts between the Digital World and Earth, the way the other Digimon feel about humans and who they might be able to turn to their side. Although, she doesn't reveal how exactly she came to know this information. The parts that are useful she shares, but the parts that relate to herself she does not. She's also always willing to share folktales and less pertinent information, just because she enjoys knowing it.
When Alphamon jumped to Earth and became Kyoko, she had no previous contact with humans. However, even people who had known Kyoko ever since she was a child weren't able to notice anything was different. She took the time to absorb the knowledge that came from Kyoko, learned about who she was as a person, and how humans acted to carry out her investigations without drawing any attention to herself. As Kyoko was a detective, she used that identity to explore every avenue of investigation open to her.
SURVEY
â–¶ I REGULARLY MAKE NEW FRIENDS.
â–· 1. No, she really doesn't try. The only time she makes new acquaintances is when they stumble across her. It's rare she even meets new people outside of her job as a detective. Additionally, Alphamon's title is "The Lone Hermit" and the other members of her group consider her a legend, in that they don't believe she exists at all.
â–¶ SEEING OTHER PEOPLE CRY MAKES ME WANT TO CRY TOO.
â–· 1. She's not that in contact with her emotions or other people's.
â–¶ I OFTEN MAKE A BACKUP PLAN FOR A BACKUP PLAN.
â–· 4. She only does so in extenuating circumstances. Otherwise she'll go with her first plan and improvise as she goes along. When they attempt to turn somebody onto their side and fail, she tries the next thing, which is eliminating them.
â–¶ I USUALLY STAY CALM, EVEN WHEN UNDER A LOT OF PRESSURE.
â–· 5. The entire game she's dealing with the reality that both Earth and the Digital World will be destroyed by an alien creature. She tells her assistant to take breaks and to get everything that they want to do done, even at the cusp of resolving the primary issue. At no point does she pressure them into rushing to a conclusion.
â–¶ I AM VERY SENTIMENTAL.
â–· 3. She wouldn't say she's very sentimental, but she does spend years piecing together her assistant's persona out of the memories that were available from their digital companions. Near the end of the game, when the Digital World and Earth were going to get separated forever, she stalls and talks to them for longer, not quite ready to say goodbye.
â–¶ EVEN A SMALL MISTAKE CAN CAUSE ME TO DOUBT MY OVERALL ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE.
â–· 1. No, even when she gets surprised, she doesn't doubt herself. She's very secure in herself, what she knows, and that she can certainly find a way to fix the problem.
â–¶ I AM MORE INCLINED TO FOLLOW MY HEAD THAN MY HEART.
â–· 2. When it comes to world altering decisions she tends to be more logical. However she does still have a heart when it comes to her choices. Half the Digimon in her faction (The Royal Knights) believe that it would make the most sense to completely eliminate humanity for unleashing a world destroying threat upon both worlds, but Alphamon had gotten attached to humans through her time as Kyoko.
â–¶ I AM PRONE TO WORRYING THAT THINGS WILL TAKE A TURN FOR THE WORSE.
â–· 1. No. Even when she knows and watches things getting worse, she doesn't spend time worrying about it.
â–¶ I ENJOY WATCHING PEOPLE ARGUE.
â–· 4. Occasionally. Sometimes it's funny to watch teens get into petty squabbles over dumb nicknames. While she doesn't instigate, she does join in if she thinks it's funny enough.
â–¶ I TEND TO AVOID DRAWING ATTENTION TO MYSELF.
â–· 5. Alphamon as Kyoko refers to herself as a humble detective, despite being a well known detective in the area. In the district, she's somebody known to be reliable and skilled. Alphamon, as a person, is also so rarely seen that other Digimon of the same faction believe she's only a legend.
â–¶ I OFTEN DO THINGS AT THE LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT.
â–· 3. Sort of. She did show up as Alphamon seconds before her assistant almost died. She had plenty of opportunity to intervene earlier. But she also trusted them to be able to handle the enemies on their own beforehand. Besides that moment, she's quite happy to share pertinent information as she comes across it.
â–¶ I FIND IT EASY TO EMPATHIZE WITH A PERSON WHOSE EXPERIENCES ARE VERY DIFFERENT FROM MINE.
â–· 2. She rarely even makes an attempt to empathize with other people at all. However, she doesn't need to understand where they're coming from to assist them. Alphamon also very clearly understands Kyoko's situation.
â–¶ I BECOME BORED OR LOSE INTEREST WHEN THE DISCUSSION GETS HIGHLY THEORETICAL.
â–· 1. She enjoys highly theoretical discussions, and will often add in more technology that does not make sense to a layman at all. She also enjoys learning about new and interesting things at all times.
â–¶ I RARELY FEEL INSECURE.
â–· 5. She's very confident in herself. Not a single time do we see her unconfident, even when she's startled by things other people know.
â–¶ I AM STILL BOTHERED BY MISTAKES I MADE A LONG TIME AGO.
â–· 1. She is not bothered, she doesn't spend much time dwelling over the past or her mistakes.
Heart would also be fun because emotions are not something she's normally driven by.
RANK REQUESTS: A high or medium rank would be interesting because so much of what she does is easy due to her general anonymity. She'd lose that with high standing and have to adjust.
SAMPLES: TDM top level. Kyoko's intro in a murder game.
