[ lmao well. he makes a bit of a face. ]

... I don't really know.

[ he hates not knowing. BUT.

fei du settles into the same feeling of practicality, expression neutral. it's familiar to him. detached. just be detached. ]

In terms of choosing Shenhe, it's... a logical choice. [ even if she was someone so incredibly precious. ] For many reasons. First, her team had four people. Second, she's not the only person from her own world, so erasing her wouldn't cause the entirety of Teyvat to be erased. Not only that, but she's the outlier - the other two are on a team together, and - to be perfectly honest, I can't imagine why anyone would target Nahida except for the shock value.

[ rest in shit britt ] So, that leaves her and Kaveh. Based on the evidence that we saw, there was a huge fight. If someone chose to fight her, then maybe they wanted to leave it up to chance - that it could fall either way, to Shenhe or whoever killed her as a victim. If it was a fight, and it was someone who was capable and Kaveh... well. Kaveh probably wouldn't stand a chance.

I do think that the beers, the neatly folded clothes - that those are a sign that perhaps it was someone's conscious choice, but we saw similar with Libby, who chose her victim based on the fact that he wasn't human, and the fact that he had said something about not surviving at all, supposedly.

Two doesn't make a pattern. Lambda's kill was rather brutal, but I wonder if her killer didn't know that she was like that. If they knew, would they have targeted her? Or was it a mistake - and in that case, would it make more sense to be coerced, or not?

I don't know. I can't make a distinction. Frustrating.
