[she swallows.] ... What if we allowed something terrible to happen again?

[... Amelia reminds her so strongly of Dukemon sometimes.]

We have to work hard tomorrow and find the correct answers. That's what's under our control.

[she lets out a sigh, letting out some of the tension.]

... You're right.

Whatever happened, I want to know what it was. And tomorrow's going to be our best chance to find out for sure.

[factoring]

I usually am. [A little light-hearted.]

[saillune]

[that... makes her smile a little.]

Right...!

And we can only have justice once we have the truth!

[she's still a little frazzled, but there's some light back in her eyes. amelia is truly so easy to cheer up.]

[Ah, she can't quite help it. She pats Amelia's head.]

[ As usual, she can be found wandering around the newest area.

She's not wearing a sweater, but she doesn't seem particularly cold...?

At this point she's looking at the Workshop. ]

There are a lot of animals around.

Huh... yeah. Pretty weird, for a workshop...

[But she is kneeling down to pet a puppy because of course she is. Amelia is also underdressed in that she has no cold weather clothes, but she's too excited about this new snowy area to really mind.]

The dogs are pretty cute.

[ But all dogs are good dogs, aren't they? ]

Yeah!!

Hey, maybe this is where those shark dolls are made...

[Is this the origin of blahaj...? She stands up and looks around in wonder.]

It does seem like toys are made here. I suppose it's not impossible?

Week 6, Tuesday

[saillune]

[Amelia can be found at a table at Milk & Cookies! It looks like she finally smartened up and got herself a winter coat (yes she spent much of yesterday in the snow without one) so she has one on, it's got some melted snow on it so she's definitely been spending some time outdoors.

She has her phone in front of her, as well as some hot cocoa, but right now she's just kind of sliding down in her seat like she wants to become one with the floor.

How is it only Tuesday...?]

[factoring]

[ Kyoko takes the seat straight across from her at the table.

She's never seen her quite like that before. ]

Are you doing alright, Amelia?

[saillune]

Yes!! I'm fine!

[The answer is immediate, and she tries to straighten up very quickly. And she ends up bumping the table, making the cocoa in her cup swish precariously.]

... Just, kind of had a lot to process lately.

[factoring]

It's alright if you aren't. It's been a rough weekend.

[ She reaches out to at least steady the cup from falling over. ]

[oh. thanks, kyoko.]

Yeah... like things keep getting worse, and better, and worse again...

... Um, did you end up getting more of those text messages?

[factoring]

[ Fei Du, Nahida and Rang... Maybe. ]

It looks like you're at the top of the rankings right now.

Yes, I received three yesterday. They say the same sorts of things. What about you?

Yeah... looks like it...!!

[ I don't think we were trying to be the top, though!? ]

Um... some well-wishes from a few people. Nahida was definitely one of them. And someone letting me know Simon's being taken care of, and... one from Simon, too.

[factoring]

[ Maybe Amelia and Livio weren't, but Simon seemed to have other plans. ]

[She slams a fist on the table. There is no saving the cocoa this time -- it swishes enough to spill a little.]

I was hoping he'd write, and thinking that maybe he'd explain himself!! Even just a little bit!!

But it was mostly just instructions for how to take care of the animals he left behind...

[ Which I actually really needed, but that's beside the point! ]

[ ... I can't tell if that's considerate or not. ]

There are some people who are always going to be difficult to understand. Even more so when you can't converse with them.

His tone was totally different from usual, too. So, I guess... maybe he really was putting on an act all along...
